The Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF) has expressed satisfaction over the recently laid playing court at the Sport Hall of the National Stadium, Lagos.
Speaking at the weekend, President of the NBBF, Tijjani Umar, said the governing body acted promptly after some teams complained about the state of the facility.
“The federation set up a committee to look into the suitability of the court of the Lagos stadium after we received some complaints over the quality of the facility,” Umar said.
“They went there, conducted extended inquiry and submitted their report to us, we are completely satisfied with the quality.”
He stressed there will be no further replacement works on the court, adding that it meets FIBA standard.
