Prince William Pictured Flying Economy To The UK From Friend’s Wedding in America

He may be the future king but Prince William showed he’s free from heirs and graces as he was spotted flying economy on his way home from a friend’s wedding.

The 31-year-old dad was snapped sitting in the window seat of an American Airlines flight from Memphis to Dallas on Sunday.

The prince took the internal flight before beginning his long-haul journey home after a weekend of celebrations for the wedding of best pal Guy Pelly to American heiress Lizzy Wilson.

He was spotted by US TV reporter Eli Ross who posted the image to his Twitter, saying: “‘I am still amazed #Prince William flies COACH. That’s pretty humble/awesome. Who knew?”

Prince William was returning to wife Kate and son George after his weekend of celebrations where he and newly single brother Harry were ushers at the Memphis Hunt and Polo Club bash.

Although he usually flies first class, it’s not the first time William has joined the masses in economy.

He and wife and Kate were seen on an easyjet flight on their way to a romantic break in the French alps in April 2012.

And in August 2011 they flew with the budget airline Flybe on their way home from Zara Phillips Edinburgh wedding to Mike Tindall.
