Arsenal have ended their nine-year wait for a major trophy, courtesy of a 3-2 extra-time win over Hull City in Saturday’s FA Cup final at the Wembley Stadium.
The Gunners fought back from two goals down, as Santi Carzola and Laurient Koscielny drew level an early James Chester and Curtis Davies strikes.
And with the game headed for penalties, Aaron Ramsey gave Arsenal the lead for the first time on 109 minute.

Victory for the North London club means Hull will play in the third qualifying round of the Europa Cup next season.
Ironically, Arsenal last won a major trophy in 2005, defeating Manchester United on penalties in the final of the same competition and, nine years later they are celebrating with a brand new trophy after the previous one had worn out.
