Ikeja Blocked Due To LASU Students Protest

In a bid to protest the recent school fees hike by the Government, students of Lagos State University have taken to the Ikeja Airport road right down to Ikeja bus-stop in Lagos State.

The protest is aimed at calling the attention of the state government to the outrageous cost of education. The incident has caused a lot of traffic gridlock on the Ikeja road for some time now as the students have succeeded in using a truck to cause an obstruction on the said commercial road.

  1. I just wonder What is Lagos State Government is up to, non of this people in Government today ever experience something like this in their school days. Gov Fashola should please reduce the price of School fee as most student struggle hard to pay their School fees. Moreover, education has its place in budget so why should you want to raise fund from education instead of spending on it. Save the future of Lagos State and Nigeria in general. APC should see to this, before they lose their respect.
