Clarence Seedorf has been sacked by AC Milan, less than five months after taking over the reins of the San Siro.
Former Italy striker Filippo Inzaghi is named the Dutchman’s successor, and has signed a two-year deal.
Inzaghi, 40, had been in charge of the youth team since retiring- along with Seedorf- from professional football in 2012.
Seedorf, 38, replaced Massimiliano Allegri in January with the club placed 11th in the Serie A table.
He led Milan to 11 wins in 19 league games, ending this season campaign on eighth position, 45 points behind champions Juventus.
