The service of songs for Veteran movie producer Amaka Igwe who passed on last month took place yesterday at the Havens Event Center, Ikeja GRA.
The event was attended by stars in the Nigerian movie industry including Onyeka Onwenu, Richard Mofe Damijo, Kunle Bamtefa, Iretiola Doyle, Ego Boyo, Patrick Doyle, Keppy Ekpeyong Bassey, amongst others.Lead actress in Checkmate, Ego Boyo said of the late media mogul –
“She brought out the talent in me, she’s my sister and friend ”
