PHOTOS: World’s Oldest Man Dies At Age 111

The world’s oldest man, Alexander Imich, is dead at the age of 111, according to Associated Press, AP.

It was gathered that the late Imich, a retired chemist and parapsychologist, died Sunday night at his home in Manhattan, New York City, USA.

Imich’s niece, Karen Bogen, of Providence, Rhode Island, said she had visited the deceased on Saturday.

AP also reported that Imich’s health had declined about two weeks ago and he didn’t recognize anyone.

He was born in 1903 in a town in Poland that became then part of Russia.
