Popular Lagos pastor and Convener of the Save Nigeria Group, Pastor Tunde Bakare says one of the ways to end the spate of attacks by terror group, Boko Haram in Nigeria, is for the Federal Govt of Nigeria to apologize to the sect members for killing their leader, Mohammed Yusuf in 2009.

According to Vanguard, he gave the advise during the state of the nation address at a church service in Lagos.

“The summary execution of the Boko Haram’s former leader, Mohammed Yusuf in 2009 provided the soil of martyrdom for the nurture and growth of the sect. Government must declare peace first of all; apologizing for the murder of Mohammed Yusuf to the sect members not their sympathizers or bandits.” he said

On the attack on Buhari last Wednesday in Kano, Pastor Bakare said “But for the timely intervention of God, last week’s assassination attempt on General Buhari might have marked the beginning of the end for Nigeria if it had succeeded. We will not also ignore the fact that at the root of the escalation of the Boko Haram crisis was oppression and injustice”.

  1. All the books written by you Bakare that I have in my library will be burnt today. You are a useless person. Are you just talking or a noisemaker?I have listen to your speech in the confab,I wonder if you are mentally ok.You have said so many things that always contradicting. You will say something today tomorrow you say opposite.I think people like you are the problems in Nigeria.Bakare wise people never open their mouth like basket.

  2. I think we should learn to tolerate one another and respect others. Pastor Bakare is giving another option to solving the problem…I wish you all can put yourself the shoes of a beneficiary of the disastrous acts. if you do something the same way you get the same result. A sensible person will try something else to get a different result…… I pray you all grow up.

  3. FOR ME TRULY THIS MAN CALLED I DONT EVEN UNDERSTAND WHAT HE IS TRYING TO SAY. IS HE SUPPORTING THE BOKO-HARAM OR IS HE AGAINST THEM? I THINK THAT MAN SHOULD QUESTIONED,HE IS A SUSPECT. HOW CAN A MAN WHO CALLS HIMSELF A PASTOR SAY SUCH A THING? IT IS A BIG SHAME.
