Not less than four persons reportedly lost their lives on Friday, in buildings collapse that occurred in Casablanca, Morocco.
According to Reuters, 57 others sustained various degrees of injuries in the tragedy.
It was reported that rescuers had to use dogs to search for survivors before pulling them out of the rubble.
It was also gathered that the residential buildings, which are about four to five floors high, were said to be closely stationed together.
It said the tragic incident happened before dawn in a neighborhood built in the 1960s and 1970s.
Reuters, however, revealed that building collapses and other forms of accidents are very rampant in Casablanca, and noted that it shows the weakness in the infrastructures of one of North Africa’s biggest and highly populated cities.
Meanwhile, the state news agency is yet to give details on the possible cause of the collapse.
