Lawma ambassador, Oziomachukwu Favour
Oziomachukwu, who is also called OzzyBosco Wonderkid, was introduced as the face of LAWMA at a star-studded event. The aim of the appointment is order to sensitize, motivate and educate many kids/teens on the need to keep their environment clean and not just that, but to do it for some rewards attached to it. According to The LAWMA Managing Director, Mr Ola Oresanya, Oziomachukwu is an exemplary child that is ready to bring the awareness of the need to have a clean environment to other children and the populace at large.
The event ended with the team embarking on a proper cleanliness exercise. OzzyBosco led, while other children and adults followed, on the streets of Isale Eko through Iga Idugaran. The Lagos State Waste Management Authority is set to use this avenue and the existing Thursday market sanitation system to make sure all the 57 Local Government Areas (LGAs) and Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) in Lagos State are transformed.
It could be recalled that the Lagos State Government has recently employed 70 women as truck drivers, as part of efforts to empower women in the state.
