Nigerian Army To Get New Uniform

Chief of Army StaffThe Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Kenneth Minimah, has said that officers and soldiers of the Nigerian Army will soon be kitted with new sets of uniforms to differentiate them from impostors.

General Minimah, who made the announcement at the end of his official tour of army formations in Lagos State, his first since becoming Chief of Army Staff earlier this year, said the new uniforms which are currently being sewn at the Nigerian Army Tailoring Department in Yaba, will give officers and soldiers a smarter look.

“The Nigerian Army has decided to change the camouflage uniform of the service. We have also decided to make it ourselves so that it will have a uniform look. We will not allow anybody to make them for us. They are currently being made at the Nigerian Army Tailoring Department at Yaba, Lagos State. It will make us look smarter and better”, he said.

  • CHANGING OF UNIFORM IS NOT THE CASE, RECRUIT MORE ENBLE SOLDIERS, BOKO HARAM IS ON THE WAY TO BOOM ZARIA TO THE FEW RECRUIT OF THE 71RR INTAKE FROM OBINZE BARRACKS

  • I KNOW SOME OF D BOKO HARAM MEMBERS IN D ARMY WIL ALSO GIV THEIER PATNERS (BOKO HARAM) SO DIS IS MEANINGLES FIRST FISH D BOKO BOMBERS IN D ARMY SO DAT OUR SECURITY WIL IMPROVE. OK.

  • The Nigerian Army taking a smarter and new look should be an aftermath of their successful launching and wearing out of terrorism in the country. The recent choas chooping lives in this country is worrisome and the invention of military is to help ease such situation like terrorism and other related act not giving an internal new look.

  • Nigerian Army should stop exposing development that are suppose to be top secret. Must all this informations be published? I doubt if we are really ready to fight terrorism cos I’m sure Boko Haram will try to espionage, they will subvert and sabotage all the efforts made by govt cos govt are not ready to surprise BH
