Argentine midfielder Juan Iturbe joins Italian club Roma from Chievo Verona for £17.4m.
Iturbe scored eight goals in 33 games for Verona last season.
The 21-year-old who has been likened to a young Lionel Messi has signed a five-year deal for a fee which could rise by a further £2m depending on performances.
He was linked with a move to Serie A rivals Juventus and AC Milan before settling terms with the Naples club.
Roma have already signed ex-Chelsea and Arsenal left-back Ashley Cole, Urby Emmanuelson and Seydou Keita.
