President Goodluck Jonathan will always be remembered for his declaration speech in 2010 where he stated that in his early days in school, he had no shoes and no school bags.
The president was recently spotted without foot-wear during a Strategic meeting with his staff prior to his departure for the US-Africa Summit in Washing DC.
President Jonathan holds meeting without wearing shoes
Jonathan had travelled to the United States on Sunday, August 3, where he joined President Obama and about 50 participating African and global leaders for a 3-day summit for discussions that are expected to lead to greater progress in key areas such as expanding trade and investment ties, promoting inclusive sustainable development and expanding cooperation on peace and security.
Seems he decided to get in touch with his past. As they say, old habits die hard.
What has this humble man, Mr President, done to you guys! With almost five decades in my age kitty, I do not know of any president you’ve had that’s better! You need to do objective journalism, please… What you do now is truly disgusting!
Couldn’t see the pics, but if he did, what does that suppose τ̅☺ mean? i̶̲̥̅ wonder! Wearing no shoes isn’t a sign of humility people, i was thinking he is now a member of Celestial Church of God(no offense). Απϑ wearing no shoes when Y̶̲̥̅̊o̶̲̅и don’t have isn’t an HABIT, huh at infonaija
So what?
All you media houses in Nigeria lack respect and dignity! If all you do is bring down the no 1 citizen of this great nation, then everything is very much wrong with you guys!
d pic is niether bold no clear enough to convince people. dats hw d devil uses unfathomable objects to cus confussion in our beloved country. fortunately it has failed.
Constructive journalism is the best.Leave GEJ alone.
Nothing happen by chance, there is an unseen hand in the affair mr president. We should forget those stuff.
So? What is wrong in that? The trouble with us in Nigeria is that we abhor humility. We like vanity and grandstanding.
What has this got to do with good governance? He is trying his best. Appreciate him, respect him, and stop this humiliating comments. If we are doing this as Nigerians, what shall we do when non Nigerians attack our own president. Please enough is enough.Let us give honour to whom it is due.
Why can’t you Nigerians use your time well on better things than unconstructed criticism and unreasonable comments that have nothing to do with the welfare of your country or its citizens…
Its a pity, most journalist in Nigeria are substandard in practice that’s why they don’t have quality and educating information to render to their nation, SORRY.
Our President is a gentleman respect him
Leave the man üvalone jare. If the other presidents before him including Obasanjo had accomplished half of Jonathan’s achievements, Nigeria would have become an el dorado by now.
What is wrong with that? Live GEJ alone
