2015: APC Members Hopeful Of Atiku’s Victory

Some members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Wednesday in Abuja expressed optimism that the party would win the next presidential elections.

The members expressed their views in separate interviews following former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar’s declaration to contest for presidency in 2015.

Mr Sale Mustapha, one of the members, said “I believe that APC is going to win the forth coming 2015 presidential election in Nigeria.

“With the spate of happenings around, APC, if given an opportunity, will make a change.’’

Mallam Danlami Abubakar, another member, said that the party had “devised strategies to ensure a definite win.

“Part of the strategies we devised is massive youth mobilisation and enlightenment campaigns. We also pledge to encourage creativity, their ideas will be valued.

“This, we believe, will curb brain drain and encourage originality.’’

Alhaji Isiaku Mohammed, a Zonal Chairman of the party who defected from PDP, expressed the belief that APC would win the 2015 election because of its “vision”.

“Our vision and mission is to provide jobs for the youth, adequate security and adequate social amenities to our dear nation.’’

NAN reports that the venue of the declaration was filled with youths from various support groups.

Some of the groups included the APC Youth Vanguard, Turaki Support Group, Rescue Youth Group, Turaki No Problem and Nollywood Actresses for Change.

Traders made brisk sales as the venue was busy with people hawking various wares including textile, shoes, wrist watches and hats. [NAN]

  1. Atiku is the APC ‘s best bet in my opinion, he is experienced, uniting, hard working, and believes in Nigeria.
With the support of the other APC candidates, Atiku can dislodge the PDP.

APC should not go into this upcoming election with candidates who can only win at regional level.
And from his declaration speech yesterday which was totally centred on and personality, I believe with Atiku we are all in a very safe hand.
The CHANGE we need is here let’s all support and embrace it for a greater Nigeria.
