Allison-Maduke Aide’s mother Escapes Kidnap Attempt

Petroleum Minister, Diezani Allison-Madueke Personal Assistant’s mom was almost kidnapped by armed me today, but thanks to the work of the state security outfit, Operation Door-Akpor.

The security men and troops from the Joint Task Force (JTF), Operation Pulo Shield are said to have rescued 73 year old Madam Nwokoya from the grip of the armed men.

The foiled kidnapping was said to Famgbe community, in Yenagoa local government council.

One Kidnapper was caught and others escaped with gunshot wounds.

The area was attacked with Security operatives reacting Swiftly despite the incident occurring at 3am in the morning.

The gunmen had gone into the House and straight to the elderly woman’s room but she had slept in another room,

Then Youth Leader of the Community and Chairman of the State Information Management Committee, Spiro-Jack, was said to have sighted them and contacted security operatives.

“They were desperately searching each room in the house before the security operatives confronted them in a shootout,” a source said.

 

Police Public Relations Officer, Mr.Alex Akhigbe, confirmed the incident.

He said: “It happened. Some gunmen had stormed the Famgbe community in an attempt to kidnap the Mother to the PA to the Minister of Petroleum resources.

“The police operating on a tip-off, laid ambush for the gunmen and engaged them in a gun battle. While one was arrested, others escaped with bullet wounds.”
