Arsenal couldn’t penetrate an organized Leicester defense and had to settle for a draw, although the hosts had opportunities to win the game.

YaYa Sanogo replaced the injured Olivier Giroud in the central attack position, while Alexis Sanchez was drifted to the right wing.

That tactical changes yielded a goal for Arsenal, when Sanogo bundled the ball past the Leicester keeper after a Cazorla chip, leaving Sanchez to register his first League goal from close range.

No sooner did Leonardo Ulloa level the score line with an emphatic header for the homeside, after a brilliant cross from Jeffrey Schlupp.

In the closing stages, Jamie Vardy was denied by Szczesny, while Danny Drinkwater’s long range effort hit the left-hand post.

Afterwards, Leicster manager Nigel Pierson said

“ To be successful you can’t go into the Premier League and just be tight and not create things”

We looked deangerous on the counter-attack and with some decent moves. We got more to come. We disappointed not to win”
