  1. God has never left us in Nigeria. It is honesty that makes a nation thrive. When you deny justice, you should not expect peace.
Our present administration is made up of selfish people who are interested in how bulky their bank account and assets are. The welfare of the populace is not its primary concern. The people in power want to own everything if possible. All public properties are being owned by them. They are intimately everything – hospitality facilities and shares in all public and private companies. Popers turned billionaires over night at the expense of the common man.
God cannot be deceived. He sees into the darkest places of the heart. We should not deceive ourselves by lifting up some verses in the bible in abstract. Prayer is the key if you pray in truth, faith, honesty and sincerity of mind. God demands justice. How can we allow corruption to thrive and expect God to be pleased with us?
Let there be changes from the top, more care and concern for the welfare of all citizens not those in political positions and top civil servants alone, Nigerians we be patriotic and loyal. Boko Haram thrives because there is no longer the heart of patriotism in many Nigerians except in time of sports.
Therefore, not that we do not prayer but we need more of heart of patriotism and loyalty battle the insurgent. There are betrayers among military personnel and even politicians. Nigerians are among the sponsors. Many Nigerians joined due to poverty and see it as a means of survival. A case of dilemma – you either die of hunger or take a risk of joining insurgence to sustain yourself.
Let our government look inward and block the loopholes created by political laxity to make provisions to better lives of Nigerians. It is not everything that should be contracted. Let those in position of power have direct contact with people and stop armchair supervision. They should ensure that welfare relieves reach people that are meant to receive them by directly supervising them.
God is scientific and practical. If it is prayer, he has heard enough. What he wants from us is a change of heart, obedience to his commandments.
