Jonathan Felicitates With Iwuanyanwu At 72

emmanuel iwuanyanwuPresident Goodluck Jonathan on Wednesday congratulated a member of the Peoples Democratic Party Board of Trustees and publisher of Champion newspapers, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, who clocks 72 today.

Jonathan, in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Dr. Reuben Abati, commended the Imo-born politician and businessman for his “continued dedication to the service of his people, community and country”.

President Jonathan, who described Iwuanyanwu as a “renowned entrepreneur and political leader”, also praised him for his “life-long service to humanity at large”.

The statement read in part, “On behalf of my family, the Government and people of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and on my own behalf, I write to express warm felicitations to you on the occasion of your 72nd birthday anniversary.

“Your family, friends and well-wishers have great cause to celebrate you, considering the distinguished life of dedicated service to humanity which you have lived.

“As you mark this glorious day, I salute you and pray that Almighty God continues to bless you with robust health and many more years of enduring fulfillment”.

The president also commiserated with the statesman on the recent passing away of his younger brother, Sir Jessen Iwuanyanwu.
