A man of God, who claims to be Pastor T. B. Joshua’s protege has been caught up in a web of bad report.
Sahara Reporters made it known that the pastor, Prophet I.O. Samuel, who is the overseer of a church in Abuja named Shiloh Word Chapel has reportedly been said to keep one of his committed members, Samuel Chukwukadibia Ezenagu, who fell ill sometimes back till his death without any medical attention.
It was said that the deceased who is an indigene of Umuogbu village, Awka, Anambra State, Nigeria, was born to the late Prophet Chijioke and Eunice Ezenagu, January 9, 1977. He was also said to have a wife, Mrs. Chisom Juliet Ezenagu, with three beautiful kids.
The late Ezenagu was a committed choir member of Shiloh Word Chapel Abuja, Nigeria; one of the administrators and also a mouthpiece of the ministry, this is evident in the parts he took in the media department of the Church before his unfortunate death.
The deceased was also said to be a personal friend of the founder and spiritual head of Shiloh Word Chapel, Abuja, Prophet I. O. Samuel, who is a native of Nibo in Anambra state. This made the wife of the deceased to take to the pastor’s instructions when her husband became ill 5 months ago.
However, Mr. Ezenagu did not receive the healing he so desperately needed, neither was he taken to any hospital for medical treatment; this, one would have thought the founder of Shiloh Word Chapel Abuja, prides himself as a protege/son of T B Joshua, the leader of Synagogue Church of All Nations, Lagos, would have opted to take the case to his self-acclaimed ‘father-in-the-Lord” in order to get healing for his committed follower.
Instead, the man of God was said to have moved the sick man out of his home, to a hotel room at Top Rank Hotel FCT Abuja, with strict instructions to the sick man and his wife not to disclose to anyone about his condition or whereabouts, family members inclusive. The hotel room became the medical ground where he was being treated with different kinds of concoction being administered to the sick man.
This went on while the congregation was being given false information about the whereabouts and state of their fellow church member. The wife of the deceased also made it known that the pastor and one Lieutenant Okafor visited her husband at Top Rank Hotel to administer a special kind of concoction to his late husband daily. She made it known that throughout the period of her husband’s sickness, no medical exams, tests, or doctor’s diagnosis or prescription was allowed until his condition got worse, the pastor,Samuel and Okafor moved her husband back to his house in Abuja, where he was abandoned and eventually died Saturday, September 20, 2014.
When he died, the pastor and the Lieutenant made it a point of duty to deposit his lifeless body at a mortuary in Abuja, paid and ordered that the body be immediately embalmed, without the consent of anyone from the dead man’s family, not even his wife. The deceased who has three siblings living in the USA (one of them a doctor) were not told, due to the pastor’s instruction that they all should not be contacted.
However, the family is demanding for an autopsy to be done as one of the deceased siblings who is said to be a doctor claimed that the last time she saw her brother, nothing was wrong with him. She was also reported to have said that there must be a medical report to back up whatever disease the pastor is claiming to have killed her brother.
Sahara Reporters also made it known that the pastor has disallowed access of family members to the deceased dead body, clamouring for a quick burial at all cost which he said was the wish of the deceased. A wish in which the deceased’s wife made it known it was untrue.
Furthermore, a day after the death of the sick man, which was a Sunday, it was said that the man of God (Prophet I. O. Samuel) did not announce the passing away of the deceased but rather celebrated his birthday with a special thanksgiving mixed with dancing, rejoicing and celebration. And to discredit all the rumors making rounds, on Monday, September 22nd, 2014, Samuel, his lieutenant Okafor and their many allies, were reported to have proclaimed that the dead man died of HIV.
It was however made known that although the man did not clearly die of the said disease, even if he did, healing of HIV/AIDS is one of the many diseases the outreach of the church prides itself on, even his website and his many billboards all over the FCT boast of that.
However, the family of the deceased has cried out saying they need to see the dead body of their own to know what exactly killed him, this, the pastor has disallowed them to do so.
It would be recalled that just recently, a pastor, John Kayode lost his wife and four children to a midnight inferno which engulfed a mission and some sections of a church building of Christ Apostolic Church, CAC in Otumara, Warri in Delta.
