2015: GEJ To Pick Up Nomination Form On Oct.30

Nigeria’s President Goodluck Jonathan will tomorrow (October 30) pick up the PDP nomination form to be the ruling party’s candidate in presidential elections set for February next year, the Presidency informed.

The leader of the country expressed thanks to all the Nigerians, members of the PDP, friends, associates, and all groups who in sincere appreciation of the successes of the administration in the last four years, have been influencing him to seek a second term in office.

Jonathan is also thankful to all the persons, groups and communities who have sent contributions, and made initiates to support him to pay the required N22 million for the PDP Presidential Nomination Fee and Expression of Interest Form.

Among other donations the largest are:

1. Transformation Agenda of Nigeria (TAN) – N22m

2. PDP Governors – N22 Million

3. Ogbia LGA Stakeholders, Bayelsa state – N5m

4. Bayelsa State PDP Stakeholders – N5m

5. Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore – N5m

6. Rivers State PDP Stakeholders – N5m

7. Adamawa State PDP Stakeholders – N3m

8. Northern Youths Forum – N2m

9. Central Market Traders Union, Kaduna State – N1m

10. Gombe Youth United for Goodluck Ebele Jonathan 2015 – N500,000

The total sum of donations is N70,5 m.

President Jonathan promises the contributors that he will continue to do his best at all times to completely defend the great confidence they have put in his leadership.

It would be recalled that President Goodluck Jonathan will formally declare his intention to run for 2015 Presidential election on November 11.
