According to her, “PDP suffered major setback in the South-West zone in the 2011 general election, but now, the efforts we are making are apparent, as you can see, we won in Ekiti State and that means all the members in the state and National Assemblies will be coming from the PDP this time”.
Hitting home on her state of Oyo, the lawmaker said, “In Oyo State; we don’t have a governor, we have five members from there in the House of Representatives and the number is going to double now. In Ogun State also, we didn’t have but a lot of members have defected and they are coming back”.
Mrs. Akande-Adeola expressed optimism that she has earned the confidence of her constituents to warrant her victory in the forthcoming poll.
