Emir Urges Kano People To Avoid Sinful Lives And Be Prayerful

The Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammad Sanusi II, has urged the people of Kano State to always live by the dictates of Islam and avoid leading sinful lives that may bring the wrath of God upon them.

The former bank chief also urged the people to pray steadfastly so that sustainable peace and stability will reign in the state.

Sanusi made the call while addressing Muslim faithful following the Eid-El-Kabir prayer on Saturday. He urged his subjects to be law abiding and live peacefully with one another to aid the development of the state and the country as well.

He called on rich individuals in the state to help the poor during the Eid-El-Kabir so as to enable them to also enjoy the celebrations.

He lauded the way the people of the state have become open to allowing their children receive immunization, something they rarely allow in the past, which has made diseases like polio remain in the state.

The Emir also prayed that God keeps Nigerian Pilgrims ho are currently in Saudi Arabia for this year’s Hajj, asking God to bring them back safely.
