Senate President, David Mark has assured Nigerians that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was committed to a free and fair election in 2015.

“The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, is committed to free, fair and credible elections,” said Mark during the Plateau North Senatorial Zone Constituency Empowerment and Development programme to mark Senator Gyang Pwajok’s second year in the National Assembly.

“I am in support of any stakeholder who is working for a peaceful election. Election is not war or a battlefield; we must all join hands to ensure a successful election,” Mark stated.

“Senator Pwajok is one of the youngest senators who is making robust contributions in the Senate. It is a thing of joy that he is giving back to his constituency who stood by him; you must reciprocate the gesture by supporting him in whatever position he seeks in 2015,” Mark told beneficiaries at the Polo Field in Jos.

Sen. GNS Pwajok donated items worth N150 million to over 1,000 women, youths and handicap in the constituency in appreciation of their support.

He said they had been the foundation of his success in his two years in the Senate.

  1. Sen. Pwajok should forget becoming plateau state governor in 2015. I hope Savid Mark gets disgraced in 2015 coming back to the senate to be senate president. When someone loves too much power, it will intoxicate and kill him.
