The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is working assiduously to make sure Nigerian youths have a great future, said the party’s National Chairman, Adamu Muazu.
“The PDP, as a united party, is working hard to endure we secure a better future for the youth of this nation,” he stated in Asaba, when he commissioned the new state PDP secretariat.
He added that the party was “committed to actualising the transformation agenda of our President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, for the overall development of our great nation, Nigeria.”
Muazu lauded the achievements of Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan in the state, especially in the area of manpower and infrastructural development.
The PDP chairman, who commissioned the new party secretariat also commended the state chapter of the party for the “magnificent edifice” that will now serve as party secretariat.
“This accomplishment is a manifestation of your unalloyed support and dedication to our common objective to build a great and united party,” Muazu said.
Uduaghan, who delivered a welcome address at the event, assured Muazu of the state’s support in the actualisation of the transformation agenda of President Goodluck Jonathan.
According to him, Delta PDP was fully committed to the national objectives of the party, as it seeks to build a greater and united country.
“The PDP in Delta is a very strong force. We are committed and ever supportive of our great party to achieve success come 2015.
“We are waxing stronger and I will like to assure you of our support and loyalty as you continue to lead our great party for the good of the nation,” Uduaghan said.
