ATP Tour Finals: Berdych Snaps Two-Game Losing Streak against Cilic

Sixth seed Thomas Berdych maintained his unbeaten record in second round robin match at the ATP World Tour Finals with a straight sets win over Marin Cilic on Wednesday.

The Czech beat Croatia’s Cilic 6-3 6-1 in 75 minutes to keep semi-finals qualification hopes alive at the O2 Arena, London.

Berdych, who lost to the 8th seed at Wimbledon and the US Open earlier in the year, now leads the pair’s head-to-head series 6-4. He will meet world number one Novak Djokovic on Friday in a bid to seal his semi-final ticket. He has a 2-16 record against the Serb.
