Dolphins in Ijebu Ode Ahead of Fed Cup Showdown with Enyimba

Dolphins FC have opted for Ijebu Ode for their preparation for Sunday’s Federation Cup final against Enyimba International.

Players, technical crew and back room staff of the Port-Harcourt club will arrive in the South-Western town today ahead of the final against Glo Premier League runners-up Enyimba.

The idea behind the Ijebu Ode camp is for concentration- a luxury condition they may not get in Port Harcourt with friends and fans of the club around them.

“Although the time is short, we believe the two days away from Port Harcourt before that crucial game will do the boys a world of good,” manager Stanley Eguma said.

The team will depart for Ijebu Ode today and then head to Lagos on Friday.

Dolphins have played the Federation Cup final four times in 2001, 2004, 2006 and 2007, winning all of them against Elkanemi in 2001, against Rangers in 2004 and 2007 and against Bendel Insurance in 2006.
