Full House in Super Eagles Camp

There is full house at the Nigeria camp ahead of Saturday’s crunch tie away to Congo, as all invited players have arrived as at Tuesday afternoon.

The Super Eagles had their first training session on Tuesday evening at the Fifa Goal Project under the watchful eyes of reinstated coach Stephen Keshi, who has expressed happiness with his squad’s fitness.

Skipper Vincent Enyeama and Ikechukwu Uche were the only players to miss out of the session having arrived at the training camp too late to join the rest of the squad. The pair should be available for Wednesday’s session.

The match in Congo is slated for the Stade Municipal in Pointe Noire, which has an artificial turf; hence the Eagles technical crew has opted to use the Fifa Goal Project facility at the Abuja National Stadium to aclimatise before setting off for the win-or-burst Afcon 2015 qualifying cracker.
