Manchester City defender Vincent Kompany will miss Saturday’s Premier League trip to Queens Park Rangers (QPR) with a calf injury, says manager Manuel Pellegrini.
City will also be without the injured pair of David Silva and Aleksandar Kolarov, but midfielder Frank Lampard is available.
Kompany, who serves as captain for both club and Belgium national team, is also likely to be omitted from his country’s squad set to play Wales in a Euro 2016 qualifier next Sunday.
Pelegrini said: “It is not serious but I don’t know if he will be ready for his international squad.”
