Bright Dike Re-Signs With Toronto

Nigeria international Bright Dike has re-signed a new contract with Major League Soccer (MLS) club Toronto FC.

Dike, who arrived at the BMO Field via trade from the Portland Timbers in September 2013, was out of contract at the end of the season. He was picked on Friday during the MLS re-entry draft after ending the season outside the ranks of protected players.

A torn Achilles sustained earlier this year kept Dike, 27, on the sidelines for several months and, even cost him participation at the World Cup with the Super Eagles.
