Presidential aide, Doyin Okupe just set his boss, president Jonathan, up by asking a simple question “Stealing and corruption, is there a difference?”

Well, while responding to a question on his efforts to stop corruption during a presidential media parley which aired on national TV on May 5, President Jonathan said;

“Over 70% of what are called corruption, even by EFCC and other anti-corruption agencies, is not corruption, but common stealing,” adding that corruption claims appeared “politically motivated”.

Well, some Nigerians had answers for him. See the tweets below…

  • We were happy 2 have another very literate president after President Yar’Adua. So literate dt he even has a Ph.D. Only 4 him 2 come & start giving us a lecture dt stealing & corruption are different. As if we asked 4 d lecture,as if Nigeria is 1 of his zoology classes in a university. Okupe,if u missed dt lecture,go 2 him & fix a private class.
