Steven Naismith has extended his Everton contract until 2018.
The Scotland international arrived at Goodison Park in June 2012 and has developed into a regular player under Roberto Martinez.
Naismith told evertontv: “I am so happy here. From the moment I signed my first contract here it wasn’t long before I saw what a great Club it was.
“I am delighted to have agreed an extension which will keep me here for a few more years yet.”
Naismith was on target in each of his first three games this season, against Leicester City, Arsenal and Chelsea. The 28-year-old made a scoring return from a hamstring injury in Monday evening’s 3-1 win over Queens Park Rangers.
The Scot has scored a total of six goals for the Toffees in the current campaign.
