Nigeria international, Ikechukwu Uche scored Villarreal’s second goal in Sunday’s 2-0 defeat of Cordoba at the Estadio Nuevo Arcangel.

Uche, 30, came on for Gerard Moreno in  the 63rd minute and waited only seven minutes to get among the goal scorers. Villarreal had taken the lead through Luciano Vietto in the 24th minute.

The Super Eagles forward fired a right-footed shot into the top left corner of Cordoba’s goal from a Jonathan dos Santos’ assist.
