The draw for the preliminary rounds of the 19th edition of the Orange CAF Champions League was held yesterday (Monday) at the Caf headquarters in Cairo, Egypt.
Reigning Glo Premier League champions Kano Pillars and runners-up Enyimba International FC have been drawn against Malakia FC of South Sudan and Buffles of Benin Republic respectively.
Both Nigerian flag bearers begin their campaign with a first-leg encounter slated for the weekend of 13 February, 2015, while the return leg games are scheduled for a fortnight later. Pillars face a trip to South Sudan for the first leg, while Enyimba will be at home to Buffles.
The draw is deemed an easy one for both NPFL clubs, who are now expected to progress to the first round of the competition.
