Governor of Kaduna State, Mukhtar Yero, on Wednesday swore in two new commissioners to replace those that resigned to pursue their political aspirations.
The new commissioners are Yau Nakaka and John Bezard.
Mr. Bezard was assigned to the Ministry for Special Duties.
Mr. Nakaka, a Special Adviser to the Governor, is a native of Birnin Gwari Local Government Area. He replaces Alhaji Zubairu, who resigned as commissioner for sports.
Mr. Bezard, from Sanga Local Government Area and a former Commissioner for Economic Planning, replaces Comfort Amwe, who is now the PDP candidate for Sanga constituency in the state assembly.
Speaking at the occasion, Mr. Yero called on the commissioners to work in accordance with government’s operational guidelines.
