2015: Awolowo’s Wife Drums Up Support For Buhari/Osinbajo

Osinbajo-AwolowoThe wife of late Premier of the Old Western Region, Chief Obafemi Awolowo, has given her blessing to Prof. Yemi Osinbajo (SAN), the vice presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, with a call on Nigerians to vote for him in the February 14 election.

Osinbajo is the running mate to Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.).

The call came when Osinbajo paid a visit to the matriarch, Chief (Mrs) Hannah Awolowo, at her Ikenne home.

The matriarch expressed her gratitude to God over the choice of Mr. Osinbajo as the running mate of Mr. Buhari and sought the support of the people of Ikenne in particular and Nigerians in general to make the dream come to fulfilment.

“I am very grateful this morning to see that Yemi Osinbajo is going to higher ground and it is my prayer that he will get there. I urge you all to support his aspiration. God will take you there”, she said.
