Nigeria’s Minister of Petroleum, Allison Madueke has announced the reduction in the Pump Price of Petrol from 97 to 87 Naira per liter..
Following the slide in oil prices the Federal government had been criticised for maintaing the initial 97 naira. Presidential Spokesman Dr Reuben Abati in a tweet said, “Petroleum Minister Alison-Madueke announces a N10 reduction in pump price of petrol from N97 per litre to N87 per litre effective midnight”
NewsWireNGR recalls opposition All Progressives Congressd had called for an immediate reduction in the pump prices of petroleum products in view of the crash of the price of crude oil in the international market.
The reduction of price of petroleum product is the first since late President Umaru Yar’adua reduced the price of PMS on assumption office as President in 2007 following Obasanjo’s exit in office..
Details of the reduction to follow shortly….
Not a big deal. Its should be reduced by the percentage reduction of crude price. We will vote out the clueless and senile GEJ
What difference does it make? What a clueless government !
who send him does he think we are fool i think that should be anough to vote him out
This is just his usual deception every time we are close to the election! Let wait and see. 97or 87. Pls plan your hand over remark.
Rubbish if you like reduce it to 5N we will not vote 4 u. GMB ol d way 2015
I wonder y illiterates and unepistemic people always get involved in any political analysis. The north have misruled this nation for decades with the Yorubas as their slavic corroborators. This adninistration is destined for great things and it is only the power drunk, religious nigot and nepotic cum tribalistic norths can react to this striding progress.
Don’t mind the fisherman turned the woarst Nigerian president. You can deceive some pple all the time but not al pple. It’s not his fault but unquestionable “GOD”s decision that took the masses Yar’adua’s life to pave way for the Badluck Ebele Jonathan (BEJ) to mortgage our future to the path of suffering. Is this not the Man that Yar’adua reduced and stabilzed the petrol-litre product price to as low as #45 for the masses consumption but, after voting him into power in 2011 only for him to pay us back with incremment in the litre price of petrol to #141. Courtesy of the protest that forced him to revised to #98. By the way, with over 300% fall in the world market price,if they equivelently and meaningfully want to reduce the oil price per litre for us, we are to domestically consume a litre of petrol with less than #35. With our pvcs,we know what to do on 14/02/2015 period. Nobody should talk more than that and if you like, you can promise them your vote only for the D-day to come. This is the same man that won sympatetic election in 2011 after telling Nigerians he was shoeless.
And So ,what is my business about that ,all I know is let there be peace in Nigeria
What difference does it make.. GMB all the way come February 14..
If you like give us pms for free, you are bribing us and so we will still vote you out.. period
