Dolphins FC have completed the signing of Bayelsa United striker Peter Ebimobowei.

The details of Ebimobowei’s contract has yet to be released but it is understood the Port-Harcourt side finalized the move on the last week of 2014, beating top Glo Premier League sides, Enyimba, Warri Wolves and Abia Warriors to the striker’s penmanship.

Ebimobowei, who scored 18 goals to emerge third leading scorer in the 2013-14 league seasons, has been immediately registered by Dolphins for the 2015 Caf Confederation Cup. He is believed to a perfect replacement for Emem Eduok, who is believed to have joined Tunisian giants Esperance.

Dolphins will face Equatorial Guinea champions, Leones Vegetarianos, in the preliminary stage of the Confederation Cup.

The Garden City outfit finished ninth in the Nigeria top-flight last year but qualified for Africa’s second-tier club championship as runners-up Enyimba in the 2014 Federation Cup.
