Nigeria youth international, Wilfred Ndidi has joined Belgian club KRC Genk, the club have announced.
Ndidi, who played for the Nigeria U-20 at the 2013 World Cup in Turkey, has penned a two-and-a-half-year deal with Genk with an option for two additional seasons, according to the club.
The announcement has now put to rest all hopes by Portuguese club Sporting Braga to sign the highly-rated central defender.

The former Nath Boys of Lagos stalwart was at Genk in January 2014 on trials but couldn’t finalise a move because he was then below the Fifa approved age of 18.
Ndidi will wear the No. 25 shirt for Genk.
