Leicester City have signed striker Andrej Kramaric for a club record fee from FC Rijeka for an undisclosed fee.
Kramaric, 23, penned a three-and-a-half-year deal with the ‘Foxes’ on Friday after he was granted a work permit.
The fee is believed to worth £9m, which is more than the £8m Leicester paid to sign Leonardo Ulloa from Brighon and Holves last July.
“We’ve watched Andrej for a long time,” manager Nigel Pearson told the club’s website. “We knew we were signing a player that could add great quality to English football.

“I’m delighted the relevant authorities have seen the situation the same way.”
Kramaric joined Rijeka from Dinamo Zagreb, where he played between 2009 and 2013.
