The Enugu Catholic priest and founder of the Adoration Ministry, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, yesterday raised the alarm that he has been receiving threat messages following his New Year eve message where he said that Nigeria would be doomed if President Goodluck Jonathan is re-elected.

The priest who anointed the president and his wife, Dame Patience in front of his church members in November however came up to in December to declare that the president should step aside for his opponent, Buhari to be the president of the country come Feberuary 2015.

The reverend has however in a sermon at the Christ the King Catholic Parish GRA, Enugu, yesterday, said if such threats could move him, he would not even be standing before the congregation that morning. Sun reports that he said:

“Tell them I am not afraid of them. I have said what I was asked to say. The only word I have for them is Isaiah 54:15,17: “Surely they shall gather, but because the gathering is not of God they shall scatter. No weapon fashioned against me shall prosper.

They said Buhari gave me money, but I have never met with Buhari. I don’t know him in person. I only delivered the message I was given and I stand by that message because the future of this country is bleak with Jonathan on the saddle.”

Rev. Mbaka said before he gave the December 31, 2014 message, he had called Mrs. Patience Jonathan severally but couldn’t get to her.

“When she came here, I told her to give me her number so that I could give her messages, but thrice she refused. It was later she told one of the pastors with her to give me his number. So, before that message, I had called the number for two weeks but it was always the Personal Assistant to the pastor that picked the calls. “

Warning all Nigerians about needed change, Mbaka srepeated that if Jonathan was re-elected for another tenure, “the next four years will be hell for the country. People are crying of hunger but then you will see what is hunger.

  1. But what is wrong with all these baseless so called men of God, cant they focus on the set of people they are manipulating? They had a chronic malaria dreams, they woke up and instead of treating the sickness in them they will start to speak rubish.

  2. Rockson Wilson and Domjay. A stubborn fly always follows the coupes to the grave. You people should listen to the voice of God. For the Rev to say he stood by his Dec 31st message means he knows what is on ground oo. For GEJ has failed all of us.. stay blessed..

  3. If he endorsed gej,he is speaking the mind of God and praised but because he said the truth then he is villain. Why dont you ask yourself if you are better off then before his bloodstained administration?

  4. Rev Mbaka, by their fruit they shall know them. You are a big shame to christianity, you are not of God, you are a satanic agent using the word of God to confused the children of God. The almighty God is watching you Rev Mbaka, just wait and see what is going to happen next month. From next month after election everybody will know if you are a true man of God or from the devil. Our president GEJ God is by your side!!!

  5. My pple listen and obey instruction cos it prevent destructions also obey ur prophet so that u will prosper. Most Rev. Mbaka not a muslim and northern but a christian frm the east is telling u something frm God remember 3 wise men came frm d east. Let GMB that PDP call evil go and correct d evil in d country cos my knwledge of maths said negative negative gvs us positve. I dnt mind d reactant but d product. GEJ is a positive also in maths positve and negative will gvs us negative, GM Buhari carry go and correct all ,to whom much is given much is expected.

  6. Rev Father Mbaka, no one is after your life. This is the cheap popularity the likes of you are seeking. You leave the object to pursue the shadow. We insult our leaders and then claim our lives are in danger. Amechi can Christianly be pardoned because as Jesus Christ said, he knows not what he is doing. Rev Father Mbaka should teach us not to insult our elders, not to criticize them impolitely. To pray for them or pray then out in our closets. The Bible is full of cases where prophetic declaration brought down kings. The prophets do not spend God’s precious ministration time to dwell on lengthy politicking. Nobody is after your life. Go back to God in repentance and do the right and He is sufficient to protect and provide.

  7. The man went beyond his boundary. No genuine man of God should be seen to support any political party or any political leader publicly.

A man of God is called to preach Christ on the pulpit and nothing else. Anything outside that is worldly. Nevertheless, God will have mercy on him.

  8. U guys are all fools,..dos it matter d political party or d person dat gets 2 win d election, what matters s who will bring change and liberation 2 Nigerians..instead of condemning the man of God 4 speaking out his visions we should all join heads 2geda and pray dat God guild us mk d right choice of leader come 2015. Ur loyalty should not be on a person or party who can disappoint the country after being elected,ur loyalty should be with ur country, ensure u mk d right choice nd don’t let ethnic group, religion or party cloud ur choice 4 a leader.

  9. De Truth, it seems to me u are the one who is a fool here. Is the vision supposed to be his own or God’s? No be the same God wey ask us to test every spirit? No country on this earth is completely free from economic and social challenges etc. So becoming a President does not mean that every man must be gainfully employed. His is to prepare a flat form for people to rise, but everyone must be industrious to achieve set goals and aspirations.
