A priest who was praying during the burial of one of his church members fell into the grave after the ground under his feet gave way, police in Brazil said. UPI reports:

Brasilia Police said that they are investigating why the ground gave way while reverend Alex Novais de Brito, was praying near the coffin at the Campo da Esperanca Cemetery.

Brito, 38, told investigators that he and three other members of his church, including a 50-year-old woman, fell into the grave on Saturday around 10:00 a.m.

Luckily, no one was seriously injured, but two people were taken to a nearby hospital after suffering minor injuries. The priest said that after the incident, everyone was nervous and it was hard for him to finish the burial ceremony.
