Moses Back in Training at Stoke City

Victor Moses has returned to training at Stoke City after missing last week’s 2-1 home defeat by Crystal Palace.

The 24-year-old was substituted in the 58th minute of the Potters’ 1-0 defeat at West Bromwich Albion on 14 March with a thigh injury.

He was in consequence placed on standby in Nigeria’s squad list for the two international friendly matches against Uganda and South Africa.

“Back in training today after a small injury and looking forward to getting back to 100% for the rest of the season,” Moses wrote on Twitter.

The Nigeria international, who also missed up to two months of action due to a thigh problem earlier in the season, has scored three times in 18 appearances for Mark Hughes’ side, as well as providing three assists.

Nigeria lost 1-0 to Uganda in Uyo on Wednesday and will face South Africa in Nelspruit on Sunday.

Stoke are tenth in the Premier League table on 42 points with 8 rounds of matches to go.
