“The team did very well taking me from day one, I was immediately a part of the team. In the future I would like to help us to achieve our goals as a team.”

Nastasic, a product of Partizan Belgrade’s academy, joined Man City for a reported £12m in 2012 and was named young player of the year at the Etihad in his first year.

Having impressed in nine appearances for the Royal Blues, the club have decided to tie him down for further four years.
