Suleiman Hashimu, who came into national reckoning, following a promise he made that if Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) emerges winner of the presidential election, he would trek from wherever he is to Abuja, to witness his inauguration, has been offered a one week all-expense paid accommodation at the prestigious Transcorp Hilton hotel, Abuja.
Hashimu, 33, who began his solo expedition from Lagos a day after the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate was declared winner of the election, caught the attention of an Abuja-based businessman, who has paid N550, 000 for his accommodation and feeding in the 5-Star hotel ahead of his arrival.
He arrived Lapai in Niger State and is expected to proceed to Lambata town en route Abuja today (Friday).
While at Lapai, he was lodged at the palace and had to pass two nights there to treat blisters on the sole of his feet caused by the long distance trek from Lagos.
