Job Title: HVAC (Chiller) Technician
Location: Oyo
Job Summary
- Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician is summarily expected to involve in the setting up, maintenance and trouble-shooting of our industrial HVAC equipment such as chillers.
Primary Responsibilities
- Handle chiller maintenance trouble shootings
- Troubleshoot the complaints related to air conditioners, packaged units chillers
- Responsible for the maintenance and repair of all equipment related to the compressed air supply conditioning systems and the production of chilled water
- Respond to unscheduled and emergency service requests.
- Monitor stock of key emergency spares applicable to areas of responsibility.
- Maintain accurate and up to date plant records.
- Troubleshoot malfunctioning air conditioning and refrigeration systems to determine the cause of the malfunction
- Perform scheduled maintenance inspections, and adjust, clean and calibrate various systems to assure proper system operations
- Replace expansion valves, compressors, motors, coil units and other component parts
- Clean refrigerant systems from hermetic burnouts, evacuate and charge system
- Troubleshoot and repair direct digital and pneumatic control systems
- Check distribution systems for proper velocity, volume, temperature, pressure
- Provide technical assistance with the design of HVAC systems including installations and modifications to the existing systems
- Assist in training other technicians and staff in preventive maintenance of HVAC systems
- Prepare records and report describing procedures, actions taken and recommended solutions
- Prepare and submit request for supplies and equipment
Requirements
- Desired Experience: 10-15 years of cognate experience
