A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa State, Ibrahim Azara, has called on President-elect Muhammadu Buhari and Gov. Tanko Al-Makura to reduce the cost of governance in the country.
“I want to advise the President elect, retired Maj.-Gen. Muhammadu Buhari and Al-Makura to reduce drastically the cost of governance and fight poverty and unemployment.
“I believed that Buhari, as we know him, is a man of proven integrity and unquestionable character, and it is our belief and hope that he will listen to our advice,” Azara said.
He also called on the incoming administration at the federal and state levels to prioritize projects that have direct impacts on the lives of the people.
Azara noted that Nigerians also have a role to play and it is praying for the success of the incoming administration.
He stressed the need for a close relationship among the three arms of government, regardless of differences in political affiliation.
