Yero Pleads For Forgiveness, Urges Support For Incoming Administration

Mukhtar Ramalan YeroThe Outgoing governor of Kaduna State, Mukhtar Ramalan Yero and his deputy, Amb. Nuhu Audu Bajoga, have pleaded for forgiveness for any wrong they might have committed while in office.

Yero, who made the plea through his deputy at a church service to mark the handing over ceremony, urged people of the state to support the incoming All Progressives Congress, APC, administration to be led by Malam Nasir el-Rufai.

“I know we have stepped on many toes during our administration, we plead with those we have wronged to please forgive us”, said Bajoga.

The deputy governor said the outgoing Peoples Democratic Party administration in the state will forever be grateful for the support it received in the last two and a half years, and urged the people to support the in-coming government in order to move the state forward.

“May I emphasise that Kaduna State is our home and if we truly desire to move it forward, then we must keep aside our party differences, ethnic differences, sectional differences and religious differences”.

The deputy governor-elect, Bala ‘Bantex’ Barnabas also appealed for support when they eventually take over governance on May 29.
