Senegalese footballer Demba Ba will join Shanghai Shenhua from Besiktas, the Chinese club have announced.
Ba, 30, scored 27 goals in 44 appearances in all competitions for Turkish club Besiktas in the 2014-15 campaign, following his transfer from Chelsea last summer.
His move to Shanghai has been reported to worth €13.5m (£10m).
The former Hoffenheim striker had been linked with a return to the English Premier League, with West Bromwich Albion reportedly interested in his services, but has chose the Super League.
Ba, who scored a total of 14 goals in 51 appearances for Chelsea, will undergo medical on Sunday.
Shanghai Shenhua recently signed ex-Liverpool midfielder Mohamed Sissoko while in February they added former Everton forward Tim Cahill.
