Nigeria international, Ikechukwu Uche has completed his transfer to Mexican side, Tigres de la UANL for an undisclosed fee.
The 31-year-old has signed a three-year deal with UANL from Spanish side Villarreal.
He becomes the first African side to join the Monterrey-based outfit. UANL have won the Mexican championship and Cup on three occasions.
Uche has spent most of his time playing in the La Liga, following his move to Spain in 2002, including spells at Getafe, Granada, Recreativo and Real Zaragoza, whence he joined Villarreal in 2011. He has scored 103 goals in Spanish football.
UANL are competing in South America”s Copa Libertodores and begins their campaign against Brazilian side Internacional next month.
The striker has been capped 47 times at full international level and has scored 19 goals.
