Croatia striker Mario Mandzukic has signed a four-year deal with Juventus from Atletico Madrid.

The 29-year-old only joined Atletico last summer from Bayern Munich and scored 20 goals in 43 games for the Spanish side.

His transfer to Turin is said to worth £13.6m and could rise to £15m.

“I like Juventus and I like the city. I hope I will be happy here. I will fight for my new team,” he said.

It is the third season on the trot that Mandzukic will be joining beaten Uefa Champions League finalist, following his 2012 move to Bayern Munich and his transfer to Atletico last summer.

Juventus striker Carlos Tevez could be set for his departure from the Italian champions, after Argentina legend Diego Maradona hinted he could join Boca Juniors recently.

Tevez scored 27 goals in all competitions for Juve in the 2014-15 season.
